Our patented rounded wire ends are designed for the safety of cables and installers. Along the runway side (flanges) each wire end features our unique rounded end which provides for safe handing and protects cables from damage during installation.

DURATRAY Cable Basket Systems are designed to support the volume capacity of the cables and provide safe mechanical support for span up to 2.7 meters on center.
Tested load deflection data is available in accordance with NEMA VE1 standards.

Electro-Zinc Dichromate
Z: Low carbon Steel with Electro Zinc Coated (Applied fabrication), Recommended application: controlled interior.  Average thickness approximately 6-8 microns
Hot-Dip Galvanized
H: Low Carbon Steel with Hot Dip Galvanized (Applied after fabrication), Recommended application: Exterior, corrosive. Average thickness approximately 80 microns.
Color Powder Coated
P: Low Carbon Steel with Powder Coated (Applied after fabrication) as customer’s specific color, Recommended application:  Controlled interior. Average thickness approximately 80 microns
Stainless Steel
S: Stainless Steel SUS304, 304L and accessories also availables, Recommended Application: Food preparation, wash-down areas
SS: Stainless Steel SUS316, 316L, Recommended Application: Highly corrosive applications & marine environments 
ALL “DURATRAY” stainless steel cable basket will be cleaned by “ELECTROCHEMICAL POLISHING”
Process in order to clean, polish, passivate and deburr workpiece.


Electropolishing is a chemical surface finishing technique, by which metal is electrolytically removed, ion by ion, from the surface of a metal object. The primary objective is to minimize micro-roughness , thus dramatically reducing the risk of dirt or product residues adhering and improving the cleanability of surfaces. Electropolishing is also used for deburring, brightening and passivating.

Electropolishing has become a common treatment for stainless steel in industries in which corrosion-resistance and cleanability requirements are particularly high. Typical applications are found in the pharmaceutical, biochemical and food-processing industries.

Since electropolishing involves no mechanical, thermal or chemical impact, small and mechanically fragile parts can be treated. Electropolishing can be applied to parts of almost any shape or size.
